Aurelia Gil collab with Juanjo Oliva at MBFWM

Aurelia Gil, a swimwear brand, collaborated with designer Juanjo Oliva to create a swimwear collection it launched at MBFWM in September. The collaboration came about when Aurelia met Juanjo during the Garden Hill campaign, where he lent her his designed glasses. Juanjo expressed his desire to create swimwear and a collaboration opportunity emerged.

This resulted with Aurelia Gil picking from her super popular Garden Hill 365 collection, together they selected swimwear pieces that suited Juanjo’s Maison in Paris. The resulting all-black capsule collection was a success, with the swimwear selling well in Paris. This collaboration allowed Aurelia Gil to expand their product range and tap into new markets while showcasing their commitment to quality and style.

The collaboration between Aurelia Gil and Juanio Oliva exemplifies the power of strategic partnerships and the ability to leverage each other's strengths. By incorporating swimwear into his brand through this collaboration, Juanjo Oliva has expanded his offering to the international customer that is the base of his Maison whilst Aurelia Gil has strengthened her position abroad and opened the door to possible further collaborations internationally.
